This is a hand-made tanto (training knife) made from Lignum Vitae, more commonly known as Ironwood. This wood is one of the most dense and hard-wearing woods available, meaning this tanto is built to last.
The wood has been ethically sourced by a trusted and council-registered wood supplier in Sussex, UK.
These are some of our signature tantos - hand-turned, hardened and carefully finished with a unique and striking wood grain. All of our wood is expertly carved by professional woodturners and undergoes a hardening process to ensure it meets the demands of training.
